Captain Jan Bartelski, former IFALPA President (1968-1970)
Jan Bartelski, who has died aged 91, was a Polish-born pilot and airline captain who, as president of
the International Federation of Airline Pilots’ Association (IFALPA), made an important contribution
to safer air travel.
