Boeing ‘not satisfied’ with 787 reliability
The reliability of Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner is improving but is still not satisfactory, Mike Fleming,
Boeing’s vice president for 787 support and services said on Friday.
Lufthansa is seeking a temporary injunction against a one-hour strike called by German air traffic
controllers for January 29, a spokesman for the airline said on Friday.
Trade union Solidarity on Friday said it had obtained a strike certificate after salary talks for the pilots
of low-cost airline Mango reached deadlock.
A Hawaii man who pleaded guilty to falsely reporting a possible airplane hijacking was sentenced
Thursday to a year and a half in federal prison.
Industry experts have called on the Federal Government to establish three strong national carriers,
each having about 50 aircraft in its fleet.
Work has begun on a one-year, 37 billion dinar ($32 million) project to install new radar systems in
three Iraqi provinces, in an effort to improve the safety of civilian aircraft moving across Iraqi airspace,
